Astrology In Spa
One of the things we love to do is talk astrology, Heather Green and I, who does Hair & Make-up with Massage Maui. I have listed a link to her astrology site.
What we do offer in-spa are facials and spa treatments which focus upon individual clients needs based on their astrological charts. This may sound pretty strange but there is a great deal more to astrology than your daily generic reading in the newspaper would reveal. We can also cater a spa day for you which includes your chart reading and a personalized facial, massage and body treatment to compliment your chart. Heather can design and create an astro mala for you which is a necklace created with semi-precious stones that represent your astrological birth chart, astro-jewelry. There is so much more listed on the above website but we wanted to offer you this special package at Massage Maui. We have created a few packages based on sun signs only and have those offerings for you if would like to book those here. This is different than a personalized astro spa session which will consider your entire chart, as mentioned above.
Astro spa considers the use of the elements for which they each stand. This may help us choose from using mud to represent earth, for example, soil. We also take into consideration essential oils and the parts of the body that are ruled by these signs, which will have a correlation with one another. We may choose a spicier combination of oils and elements to honor a Leo for example and a hair treatment, as a Leo’s mane is always indicated We may go with a rather steamier treatment for a Pisces and other water signs where we infuse our steamer with oils which are also complimentary. This should start to paint a picture. We have 2, 3 and 4 hour astro spa packages and can provide a quote upon request.
Astrology in Spa Monthly Special
Every month we will feature the corresponding sun sign, for March, it is always Pisces. So if you are a Pisces, ask for our astro discount to celebrate your sun sign. We will be hosting special programs on the Solstice and Equinox days, as well as on any astrologically significant dates. On these days, we will have an astro talk and can arrange for transport to the top of the crater to star gaze and discuss the cosmic events of the season. We can arrange for an astro-themed spa party for groups and so much more. We are just getting started with this new spa theme with a very old connection in our hearts. Stay tuned and our site will be updated each month with the latest transits and astrological event. Each new moon we will host a talk to usher in the moon and discuss the current transits and how they relate to us all. Sometimes these talks will be at our location but others we can take a walk and discuss these latest astro trends on a lovely nature walk. Ask about our next event.
Pisces Spa Offering
Massage will incorporate essential oils of sandalwood with an emphasis on the lower legs and ankles. Sandalwood is a deeply relaxing massage so we suggest you relax afterwards. This massage is structural integration themed offering that lengthens, differentiates and defines the muscles of the legs to assist in individuation of muscles to maximize your sports and workout goals and performance. 50 minutes
